Terms of Use

Mahjong Night is provided by Gergő Miklós, an independent developer based in Hungary. These terms explain the service and its membership. Contact miklos.gergo.98@gmail.com with questions.

License

The iOS app is licensed under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These service terms supplement that agreement and do not replace its license provisions. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

What Mahjong Night does

Mahjong Night is a companion for four-player American Mahjong played in person. It records hands, calculates balances using your selected rules, saves local history and creates recap images. Bring your own tiles and current hand card. The app does not include the official card, recognize winning tile combinations or provide a complete course in Mahjong.

Check hand values, scoring multipliers and results with your table. Special penalties and some table variations are not supported. The dollar display is a score ledger: the app does not hold funds, place bets, award cash prizes or transfer money. Mahjong Night is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Mah Jongg League or American Mah Jongg Association.

Plus membership

An active Mahjong Night Plus membership is required to start a night, including your first. The onboarding scoring guide is available before purchase. Plus provides unlimited new nights while membership is active. Your active night, saved nights, corrections and recap sharing remain accessible if membership ends.

Plus is offered as one auto-renewing annual subscription through Apple. The localized price displayed in the app and Apple's purchase confirmation applies. An eligible Apple Account may receive a seven-day free trial when shown in the offer.

Payment, renewal and cancellation

Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a paid subscription, or when an eligible free trial ends. Membership renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends to avoid the following annual charge.

Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or use Manage subscription in the app. Deleting the app does not cancel membership. Apple handles refund requests under its policies; see Request a refund from Apple.

Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account used for the purchase to restore eligible access on a supported device. Restoring membership does not restore local night records. Purchase, restore and membership updates require a connection to Apple and RevenueCat.

Your records and sharing

You retain your rights in the names and records you enter. Use information you are entitled to use and check with your table before sharing private details. Recap sharing sends an image to the destination you select. Previously shared images do not change when you later correct a hand.

Records are stored locally. This version has no app-managed cloud backup, sync or full-history recovery. Save any recaps you want to keep before deleting the app. Device backup availability depends on your Apple settings and is not a service provided by Mahjong Night. See the Privacy Policy.

Use and availability

Use the app lawfully and respect others' privacy and intellectual property. Do not interfere with the service, circumvent purchase controls or misrepresent the app as an official Mahjong authority. The app's software, original artwork and design remain the property of the developer or respective licensors.

We maintain and improve the app, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, third-party availability or freedom from errors. The warranties and liability provisions in Apple's standard EULA apply, subject to rights and protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Updates and contact
